NWA of a horological monster and one I have admired for a long time...so we can say it is a sweet incoming ππ

I will explain the back story another time but I can say I have admired the AP Natural Escapement for it's non use of lubricants for a long time. Thr execution, architecture, and top finishing of this model just blew me away when I first saw it.
It is a BIG piece so I was always afraid it would look silly on my chicken π wrist but since my outlook has changed within the last few years, I have learned to accept things for what they are and just try to enjoy them as I go through this crazy life πππ
The grand feu enamel dial is exquisite as expected and the hands are just so uber cool. The more I look at it, the more details I find that just shows how much time and effort went into making this piece of art.
Just look at the amount of interior angles and finishing that went into the movement. This is what AP should do more of if you ask me π€·ββοΈ
It is a BEAST but I do love it so much for not compromising what it was meant to be. Remind me a lot of my Romain Gauthier Logical One without the fusΓ©e and chain π

LINK The new Millenary Minute Repeater is entirely in line with this longstanding tradition, while adopting the latest technological breakthroughs developed by Audemars Piguet, starting with the new AP escapement. As an essential component in the smooth r...

It's a marvelously executed watch. Thanks for sharing the pictures with us! Much enjoyment to you with it, Filip
Beautiful!

I bet that in real life the depth and details of the dial and movement look even more fascinating than in your pictures! Enjoy! All the best, Jon
Are you sure this is not AP replica π

When did AP make watches like that? I see a trend of collectors going back to earlier days of some brands like RD, PF and this AP etc but I have to agree this is where the craft is. Huge congratulations and now we have to go hunt them quick before you sco...
Wow

That is the nicest AP I have ever seen.
Wow. I love this one.

Simple yet so very complex. Aesthetically superb as well. Look forward to seeing more scans of this masterpiece. Darren
It was a little loud for me. But definitely a lot to like!

It was a lovely watch. The robin escapement mechanism isn't self starting sometimes. Meaning you sometimes have to gently shake the watch to get it to start working, even if it is fully wound it may not self start. Lovely piece.
Another absolutely gorgeousοΏΌ piece!οΏΌ

This is the kind of watch that reminds me why AP is my favorite holy trinity brand! Enjoy the heck out of it!
It's a shame

I'd love to see some new complicated pieces from the brand that are not Royal Oaks, and most of all I'd love to see a comeback of the star wheel as a permanent piece in the collection
Super piece

It looks like a computer mechanized.
Something fishy here.....

If you look at this movement with 'Google Lens'....there are many questions? Escher.... Fabrication...?
Hmm...
By: patrick_y : August 13th, 2022-18:41
The design of the metal plate resembles fish scales? I can see that if that's what you're trying to mean that. Escher? Are you saying M.C. Escher? The "mathematical artist" of the 20th century?
I consider it "barley" as well...
By: patrick_y : August 13th, 2022-20:23
I collected fountain pens at a young age and this barley pattern along with a pinstripe pattern was offered on pens. So I would call it barley as well. But what an amazing timepiece. Just fantastic!
Wonderful watch

It's an amazing piece you have there, both from a technological perspective and an aesthetic one. It's such a shame AP discontinued the Jules Audemars line. I remember this one well (it was not inexpensive and in striking watch territory) as well as the o...
Truly a tour de force in the AP world!!
