My last acquisition, NOT a Royal Oak!

Dec 15, 2018,05:15 AM

Hello to the community!

Found a used one on the Internet with original papers + box, from 1999 - in pristine condition!

So I pulled the trigger, and here it is:

Audemars Piguet Millenary 15016ST, black dial, arabic numerals.

Movement is AP 2225.

According to the papers it never had a (full) service until now, so this will be the next point on the to-do-list.

Greetings to all,
Ron

Mine's from 2000. Here it is with my latest acquisition, Jaqute Droz Date Astrale. I like watches that are a bit out of the ordinary and these two fit the bill nicely. Emil ...

Thanks. Just a side note; these two watches are polar opposites when it comes to legibility.

You can practically tell the time on the AP from across the room while the JD you need to look at rather closely and be sure it's at just the right angle. But I love them both!
