Here are some 2019 novelties of AP’s RO and ROO lines that I find particularly interesting.
More details and additional novelties can be found on AP’s website. Most notably, 15400 will be replaced with 15500 which showcases a new inhouse movement. My absolute favorite is, of course, the Jumbo in WG with salmon dial (limited to 75 pieces only). 😉...

Is that salmon dial color the same as the white gold one? That one seems a bit darker or is it just the picture?
I’m not very sure as the new 2019 RO indeed looks bit darker compare to my jubilee salmon

This means that there will be only one for the German boutiques if not zero. Let’s see.

The WG 15202 is superb. I prefer it to last year's platinum model.
I said I would not trade my steel for the platinum. But for this one? Maybe! (OK, probably not, I am a steel guy).

They only have a limited number of 2121 movements available per year.
In 2019, they need to cover the regular steel and gold versions plus 100 remaining pieces of the IP. That’s probably the reason. But I also had hoped for some more. 😩

Yet again depriving collectors by issuing 75 pieces RO Limited Edition. Going in-house with 15500 is a good idea and I hope the price points are not moved . Wish they had replaced it with 40mm Royal Oak instead ...

I'm not usually a fan of superfluous dial text but...
Removing 'Automatic' from the dial seems to have left the 15500 looking a bit empty/unbalanced. The new movement also seems to have fattened up the case a little bit. I think I prefer my 15400. Love the grey ceramic chronograph, though.
The 'AP' logo and hour markers seem to have put on a few pounds too..
And the larger movement has pushed the date right to the edge of the dial. The watch seems to have lost some of it's elegance IMHO.

I am glad that I recently go a new 15400 white dial. Shame on AP for limiting the salmon color dial
