I would sell 15400

Then hold onto 26 until prices come down.

I bought 15202 from boutique for 22, just can’t see buying for more than that.

Buy low sell high if you can.

My personal opinion.

Worth it to sell my 15400ST blue dial and get a 15202ST?

I have a 15400ST blue dial and have an itch to get the 15202ST blue dial. I have an opportunity to sell my 15400 for 26k and then add 10k cash — is this worth it? Would you do it? I have a large 7” wrist so the 41mm 15400 does wear perfectly on me. Thanks...

Based on your own words, absolutely not.

If the 15400 fits you perfectly, why change? I am in the camp that the 15202 is AP's most perfect Royal Oak. It's all of the proportions and dial details of this specific reference that make me feel this way. But you seem to have your perfect oak already;...

If the 15400 fits you don't change.

But I feel the 15202 is the more iconic watch. Why don't you try on the 15202 and see if it works?

I feel your pain

I, also, own a 15400 and pine for a 15202. However, the more I hear about the fragility of the 15202’s movement, the less inclined I am to pay the premium for a less robust movement. That’s just my take on things. As someone else suggested, try the jumbo ...

Had my 15202 for 10 years now without a single issue

And I use my watches in the gym as well (yes even my 15202)

That’s excellent news.

I was mainly going by other people’s comments. I am happy to be corrected

My crown came out of my 15202 after 2 years from boutique

I do feel the movement is fragile.. What made it worse is AP serviced under warranty and then scratched up bracelet and bezel, was perfect, no marks before that. I babies the hell out of that watch. My 15400 never gave me any type of issues. It’s a beauty...

I would sell 15400

No comparison. Get the 15202

The 15400 has the 'too small' assemlby line constructed 3120; the 15202, the historic 'JLC 920' assembled by one watchmaker. They are also completely different aesthetics. The stack height of the 2 hands on the 15202 makes it exceptionally elegant. The 15...

One could also argue that the 3120 is a true in-house movement with...

all the bells and whistles of a modern movement, while the 15202 has a JLC movement 😁. TOmatoes Vs TomAtoes

Prefer the 15500 over both [nt]

But it’s the chunkiest of the bunch

Personally I can only see the 15202 in my collection, so I would be biased to vote for the 15202.

But as Michael pointed out you say your current RO is perfect. You should be sure, by getting some time with the 15202 on your wrist, that it is equally perfect before committing. Otherwise you may just be overly influenced by the noise and opinions you a...

I'd stick with the 15400

Maybe not as 'iconic' as the 15202 but who cares? If it fits you well and you like the watch then save yourself $10K and keep the 15400. FWIW I tried both before buying and went with the 15400. I also have a 7" wrist (pretty flat too) and thought the Jumb...

I felt exactly the same way about the Jumbo

I’m used to large, bold avant-garde sports watches. I have a flat 7.5 inch wrist. I tried very hard to love my Jumbo, but we just didn’t mesh. It felt rather dainty on my wrist and not at all like a sports watch. You said that perfectly! So I sold it and ...

Thanks for the input fellas. [nt]
