I would also consider the Montoya...
As that's a fantastic piece as well. I owned the titanium RB2. While it was nice, it lacked flare. But when I finally found a titanium Montoya, I was blown away. It's just as superb design wise. Yet, it adds an element of flare in different lighting that was not present with the Barrichello. I like the Survivor in terms of it's strap, display case and theme. But those pushers are really out of proportion and silly in my opinion. Although, some people would argue the white spider web-like stitching on the Montoya is just as silly. I find it to be incredibly in synch with everything. I also happen to like white dials substantially more than black. Try them all on as you will never get a feel for any piece until you actually try one on. And always look at the piece from afar on your wrist and not just up close, as they always appear quite different.

I didn't realize that the blue dial is the platinum version while black is the titanium. Tells you how amateur I am with AP! But thank you for your wonderful posts and pics! You guys are really very helpful and inspirational!

Hello swcloh, I like the rugged look of the AP Survivor but not wish the crown protectors protruded less, the GP has so many details to it but the IMO the dial colors are something you gotta get used to. Have you seen them in person? Are you liking one ov...

I would choose the RB2 in rose gold over any waych in the world. I own the RB2 Titanium and have just bought the GP Carbon. I think the RB 2 in all metals and the GP are the best looking ROO's ever made!
Great feedback and

advice Respo! I have tried the GP Carbon and went Ga-Ga over it at the AD when it was being previewed. However, a week later, when I was shown the SuRvivor, somehow, the dark aesthetics of the watch with it's funky artsy shape won my attention over the GP...

IMO, RB2 would stand the test of time better than the other two--it is already a classic. To me, the pusher guards of Survivor is kinda out of proportion for watch size, probably if implemented in 44mm casing as in Alinghi would be better. As for GP, thei...

imo ap has yet to out-do the rb2. it will keep its value better than the other two. the ceramic bezel is virtually indestructible and if the case gets scratched you can get it refinished unlike the other two. survivor - i think its a niche watch, the curr...

RBII for value retention, Survivor for unique and GP for a amalgamation of all previous APROOs ever done(comment from a fellow WIS) for me...none of the above...i will rather go back to base ROOs or the TA, becoz i m tired of all these unlimited limited e...

..sounds quite true! At times I too wonder, if demand is still high whether AP would have it stretch to an RB4? Naah probably not.. that's bad luck in Asia! RB8 perhaps?? hehe.. Began collecting during the T3 days, grabbed almost everything I could get my...
