I have the same size wrist. 16cm

Aug 10, 2020,13:32 PM

I tried on a friend's RO diver in black. It is way to big. Even if you buckle on the last notch of the strap, the watch will wear very loose. It wont feel secure and will be swing and rotate around your wrist. Which won't feel comfortable at all. If you are doing anything active, the crown will bang or dig into the back of your hand.

As for looks wise, still way to big to make it look good. You will look like a kid wearing a grown up watch. there is no way to make this look good with someone that have under 16cm wrist. With rubber straps, the watch should look like it fits securely to look good. Girls can pull off larger watches but there is a limit. For a <16cm wrist women's, I say a 40mm is largest I would go.

Suitable for smaller wrists?

My father-in-law is very interested in the Offshore Diver 15710, in various dial colors. My mother-in-law really likes the white dial with blue accents—for herself. But she has considerably smaller wrists than you would think for someone wanting to wear a...

I agree that women can pull these off better then men. Panerai in particular is a lot more versatile than people give the brand credit for.

It’s just that I’m concerned about the case shape of the Diver—it has that flat shelf that protrudes up from 12 and down from 6, and it makes the watch wear huge. That said, I’ll have her try it on and I won’t be surprised if she rocks it!

totally agree. any size become stylish in female wrist [nt]

The case shape makes it wear very differently than watches or similar diameter from other brands.

If you take it, you should order a short strap which is available at every AP Boutique.

Since I purchased my 15707 CE I wear it on the shorter strap and it fits perfectly at all occasions.

Thanks for the tip!

May I ask what your wrist size is, out of curiosity?

To be honest, I can’t say... I always take a shorter strap if available or I let the bracelet shortened, respectively.

In case of the 15707 the original strap was much too wide. Now I have fastened the short strap right in the middle.
