I have some direct information regarding this topic from both Audemars Piguet and The Watches of Switzerland Group

After Nick made this post, I did indeed forward it to some contacts at Audemars Piguet. The responses have been swift, proactive, and very encouraging.
As we have discussed, this AP Boutique is a partnership with and is managed by The Watches of Switzerland Group. It opened around 1 month ago, and it seems reasonable to expect operating details, employee training, etc. continue to be refined and improved.
Regarding the specific questions asked to the client here, both AP and The Watches of Switzerland Group assured me that the questions are not common, and in agreement with the nature of this thread, inappropriate. I had a brief conference call with our AP North America CEO, Patrick Ottomani, and the Executive Vice President of the Watches of Switzerland Group, David Hurley. Both gentlemen are sincere and apologetic towards the clients, and are contacting him directly.
I came away from the call thoroughly impressed. I try to be accountable in life, with business, relationships, etc. I'm far from perfect, and that's OK. These two companies are stepping to the front to address this issue and assure it is not repeated. They certainly have my respect for doing so.
