interesting viewpoint

By “ages” do you mean makes it more “dressy” or “formal”...or “ages” in a more negative light? No, i didn’t even consider other colors until you mentioned. Honestly i’d originally gotten the grey strap for the 15305 skeleton, but really missed the total “industrial/mechanical” look with the bracelet. So i put the strap on this white dial piece instead, as a trial and means of distinguishing. Still, it does feel a shame to have the great bracelet but not wear it on the watch. Regardless, thank you for your unique perspective.

I have a thing for grey straps

Do you guys think that my changing out the bracelet in favor of this leather strap severely lessens the ‘presence’ and sophistication of this watch? AP’s RO white dials are amongst the few that I truly admire, but the RO bracelet is also second to none. I...

It showcases the white dial more.

Compared to the brilliant (and attention grabbing) RO bracelet. Thanks for sharing? Is it from AP strap?

OEM strap

Yes, i ordered it through my AD. The leather straps from AP are a bit exorbitantly priced, but perhaps because it comes with a deployant clasp.

Looks very nice...

... but will take some getting used to. It ages the watch a little bit (in my head). The bracelets are just so iconic and silky. Did you try on other colours as well?

No worries.

I meant something slightly different - “ages” as in a maturing of the watch and giving it a more toned down, don’t need to shout vibe. The reason i said will take some getting used to, is that both of mine are on bracelets

Totally agree

The toned down effect is a very accurate characterization that I can see now, thank you. And I’m definitely not used to it either, especially knowing there’s an available bracelet. I’ll probably have the AD switch it back this summer depending on how this...

Anytime!

Would be super interesting to see how this looks on a lighter gray leather strap
