Hi AP fans, I was like a kid in candy store when I visited the boutique !
50th anniversary
The black ceramic RO chrono (26240CE) was a big (and pleasant) surprise to see in the metal. Very powerful looking and is a statement piece. Vincent (sales manager for the boutique) reminded me that each AP ceramic watch is made from a single piece of ceramic rather than several pieces, hence rarity and higher price point.
This encrusted diamond piece (15210BC.ZZ) is a watch for attending the Oscars. Too bling for me though. Under spot lights, I needed my sunglasses š. The workmanship is great. Check out the diamonds on the crown.
The PC with blue dial on a gold bracelet is a heavy weight, both figuratively and in heft. We spoke about safety for wearing such a watch and concluded that in the downtown parts of Asian cities such Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong šš°, Taipei, and Singapore šøš¬ it should be fine.
The code (26399NR) with smoky blue dial is sharp looking piece. Next time I need to compare it with the burgundy which I found quite attractive previously.
