Here are some 2019 novelties of AP’s RO and ROO lines that I find particularly interesting.

More details and additional novelties can be found on AP’s website. Most notably, 15400 will be replaced with 15500 which showcases a new inhouse movement. My absolute favorite is, of course, the Jumbo in WG with salmon dial (limited to 75 pieces only). 😉 Interesting is also the new ROC with 38 mm case diameter. There are also some nice new camouflage ROOs; my favorite new ROO model is the one with grey ceramic case though. Enjoy the selection of pictures taken from AP’s website. Best, Volker

Is that salmon dial color the same as the white gold one? That one seems a bit darker or is it just the picture?

Yes, but this one will be really difficult to get.
Funny thing is that I told the AP rep last month

That I wish they would make a WG 15202. The piece is stunning but the last thing I wanted to read was that it is another boutique only piece, guess I will not be buying one. I hate to say it but as big of a fan of AP that I have been for over 20 years I t...
Fully understandable, Jerry.

The irony of course is many of the great dealers are largely responsible for building the brands. And then they get their lines pulled, it is really unfair. I experienced the other side of the coin from one local dealer in particular. I supported them for...
That's the one!

And without sweep seconds and colored date window, it is the first Royal Oak that I really love. GEO
Not really fascinated with the novelties...

Yet again depriving collectors by issuing 75 pieces RO Limited Edition. Going in-house with 15500 is a good idea and I hope the price points are not moved . Wish they had replaced it with 40mm Royal Oak instead ...
Again if AP then Oak :)

Based on novelties they can change name from AP to RO ... salmon is great but frosted purple is most interesting...I would like to see than in metal. Cheers D
I'm not usually a fan of superfluous dial text but...

Removing 'Automatic' from the dial seems to have left the 15500 looking a bit empty/unbalanced. The new movement also seems to have fattened up the case a little bit. I think I prefer my 15400. Love the grey ceramic chronograph, though.

I am glad that I recently go a new 15400 white dial. Shame on AP for limiting the salmon color dial
