50th anniversary RO with a powerful black dial, and getting it just in time to wear it to the 50th exhibition at the West Kowloon Art Pavillion ! Naturally I was over the moon in wearing this piece to the exhibition.
Prior to attending the event, we visited the new Palace Museum next to the exhibition. I had to take wrist shots with the museum in the background, while inside we saw some amazing art works (brought from Beijing's Palace Museum to Hong Kong) which are over 500 years old !
For the RO exhibition, there was an AP collector who played piano which was connected to a device that blew wind to move a curtain based on the music played. Furthermore, Swiss images were projected on the moving curtain. It was very neat how they did it ! There was an interactive display that provided different sounds based on what I touched. Additionally, quite a few 50th anniversary pieces were shown in display cases.
Overall it was a fun and informative experience !
