Funny how you mostly publish post of watches where the first thing i think of is: "look how they used to be and what they became."

I know it's lame to say the past was better but look... watches became too mainstream and we can see how it affects some of the most prestigous watchmakers in a negative way.

Audemars Piguet Star Wheel Platinum Red Dial.

Credit picture: Phillips. I am a big fan of the Star Wheel, and mostly of the Millenary Star Wheel, but this one doesn't lack charm nor beauty and I must confess that I didn't know this dial version. The back is so so, but the front... Wow! Best, Nicolas ...

Never heard or seen this before

A first for me also.

Quite nice. I'm guessing it's a small diameter . . . 37mm or so? M4

36 mm. [nt]

It would be a hard choice...

...between this one and the Millenary Star Wheel in blue! (If I had the opportunity only... :-P)

True! [nt]

I've seen a bunch of Starwheels come up over the last several years but never like this. I'd seen it in the catalog and marked it as a favourite!

It's by far the most interesting and maybe most contemporary of the versions I've seen for sale so far.

Thanks for sharing .

Never seen or heard of it . Very special imho

Great watch

personally I prefer this version to the Millenary Star Wheel even if it is more rare.

Always been a big fan of the Starwheel Nico...shame AP did not re-release it with the Code 11

 By: holdemchamp1225 : April 15th, 2019-08:39
maybe it will be something to consider for AP in the future. Imagine a Royal Oak with the starwheel function...just WOW. I would wait in line for that one

Wow, I have not seen this version before!

Thank you, Nico! It's not that often that I get stumped with watches, and, thus, I find it a true pleasure when I am surprised! Thank you for sharing! Kind regards, Dan

Yep 👍 thank you my friend

this suits my taste very well. It’s a full package of nice elements.

Ok, you got me :-)

But I was almost a good boy yesterday because I sold one also! It’s not a reduction, but at least status quo ;-)

Haha 😂

One of those watches that--if you found it for sale in the right condition from the right seller--done deal instantly!
