I’m usually more a white metal guy, but here the contrast of the gold with this incredible MoP dial looks more than great ! Stunning timepiece !

the dial furniture here at balance and doesn’t distract from main feature the mop dial. i find hands and indices just take over new releases as so large

So this tells me that the recent example of ‘dimple’ dials that I see on the AP site are actually not a new style. They have a historic predecessor, as in the example of your watch. Even the dial design and numerals on the Code models draw from older AP m... 

the breath of designs in the quantieme perpetuel series is something i focus/collect … can be even purer there too …see below with no inner semicircle for subdials 🥰🤓 ...  

Love the MOP "dimpling" - it must be very very difficult given the delicate nature of the material! Also - there's something special about the vintage fonts - many thanks for sharing! Peter
