Code 11.59, my new daily-beater!

Feb 14, 2019,22:44 PM

WG “bling” is a bit shiny under the lights in my office, but very legible in natural light on a cloudy afternoon in Singapore.

Thickness is ideal as the offshores are oftentimes bulgy under normal shirtsleeves.

Otherwise buckle and superb suppleness of the leather strap makes it a really comfortable fit.

Think about it this way - you wear your Offshores for the casual days in the office, and when you have important board meetings or presentations and need to bring it up a notch in class, the sports elegance of the code 11.59 hits the mark perfectly.

Brave of you to take the leap.

Hop on over to the Richard Mille’s Forum discussion threads around the new “Bonbon” line.....

That’s brave, audacious and very Willy-Wonka-ish. I quite enjoy the comments over there.

Congrats , the first one i see on a owners wrist .

for the rest of us that are still unsure, can you post an update with how you get on with it after a couple of months.

Looks really good!

Believe it will take its rightful place. Royal oaks are so many recently that this is perfect for a change...

AP has to be smart about the code 11.59 play....

Analyze the market : Jules Audemars were too dainty to be an evening-ware alternative to the Offshores or even the Royal Oaks. Our closest competition Patek has the 5170s that are a worthy competition, but sorry to say this to Patek fanboys, lacks imagina...

Hibiki 21 is really good stuff!!

Upgrade it to the Hibiki 30 and I might actually wear one of the RM Bon Bons! Best to you, NickO

That’s high praise...

Reserved for the people who picked up any watch in the Richard Mille “Bon bon” line 😂

I heard the best time to eat Bon Bons was a minute before midnight

The AP is actually growing on me, the RM? Not so much. Enjoy your awesome new "beater" and thanks for the colorful commentary, you're awesome too, Sir Best, NickO

No really. Actually I had compared VC 5200 with AP4400. At 30mm inspite of having a double barrel VC only has 52hr PR compared to APs 32mm 70hr. The AP Calibre certainly has its place....

...though VC aesthetics cud be considered more pleasant compared to APs more bare/raw appeal. I am waiting to see how VC introduces 5200 outside of Overseas line- Its been out since 2016 compared to this newborn 4400. Hence the praise.

Congratulations. It really looks super on your wrist.
