C.O.D.E 11:59 chronograph

So I had the chance to play around with the CODE 11:59 chronograph at the boutique

I think the CODE has potential
I tried both the RG and the WG

the case construction is very good and the layering or stacking of the case with the middle octagon case ring is actually appealing

The hollowed lugs with the RO screws is a nice touch

The double domed crystals are interesting in concept

I like the CODE but I still retain my point of view regarding the dial and the hands I’m not in love with them since they were announced

The fly back chrono function is a huge plus and hope to see them on the ROC soon

Overall the CODE is a decent well constructed piece and a fresh new path for AP

Overall, I'm not paying any attention to this line yet. It leaves me completely uninterested.

Your remarks are appreciated, Mo.

I like hearing the impressions of an "AP old-timer". Hopefully I can track one down to try on later in the year.

Goin to be hard as AP is so sure about it's own creation they pulled it from all shows accept their own boutiques...

I respect how much time/investment/risk it takes for a company to release a new watch and especially, a new line of watches. I love the 11.59's case, movement, and a lot of other aspects about it but the dial is too simply for my tastes. I would have pref...

Thanks for your review

I'm similarly situated in that I think the case, movement and even the glass have tremendous opportunity to be great. It's the dials that (for most 11:59 models, not all) seem to fall flat. I'm sure they are nicer in person, I've yet to see one in the met...
