AP- Two Oldies but Goldies

I just want two share two Audemars Piguet watches with you, which are receiving only little attention. Both are out of production since a while, but both have conquered my heart. Both are real beauties with a lot to love, unfortunateley you see them only seldom in our forum.
There is the Edward Piguet Chronograph in white gold:
I just love the depth of the dail, the mix of the inner ring with a polished surface and the outer guioched ring, the hands from the Royal Oak and the black and white contrast. The case is Compact and elegant and makes the Edward a sporty but elegant watch.
The second watch I want to share with you is the Jules Audemars Quantieme Prepetual 30th Aniversary in platinum.
Limited to 90 pieces, it is the tuscany blue dail that makes the watch so extraordinary. Of course the perpetual calendar and 2120 caliber with a hand engraved rotor is pure HH, all embedded in a very elegant case of 41 mm diameter. This gives the watch a prominent presence on the wrist, but first of all it provides enough space for the dail to draw all the attention on it. All the different shades of blue from grey to dark, from mate to shining are so spectacular that I always forget to read the time.
Thank you for looking. Cheers,
Martin
