thinking that as a matter of fidelity of sorts that these pieces should go to people who truly appreciate music (understanding there are many dimensions of such an appreciation). I’m am/was a formally trained drummer/percussionist with my mentor having been of the big band and jazz era influence à la Buddy Rich, etc., and I extended this to some time in Africa studying percussion instruments and styles. It was like another lifetime ago *sigh*, but it defined me. Notably, I didn’t get into any such details with the boutique in order to “make my case,” because that’s not my style, and because I honestly didn’t think they would/should care. Reason being despite my background, I’m the first one to say that that doesn’t qualify me any more than someone who doesn’t play an instrument and yet may be an awesome DJ or ‘just’ have a deep, even encyclopedic, appreciation and knowledge of music, whether classical or heavy metal, and then there’s techno and other genres. I almost went down an unnecessary rabbit hole 🕳 just considering a watch. 😳🤣 Ultimately, I figured different people will appreciate these pieces on different levels and for different reasons, but I’d bet each one of those people would relate their appreciation to “music” (widely considered) in some way. Of course, I may be totally off, with my idealism getting the better of me! 🤣🤣🤣

Love funky, whimsical timepieces as much as the classic Rolex Submariner (no date of course.😎 ). Really love this Music version, especially the black combo. Hopefully musicians, DJs, etc buy it and wear it as a daily. 👍

and frankly, given that is an AP, we both know that is not likely to drop in value (of course that is not the purpose of buying a watch but..) I found it special without being too loud. Is also very cool, different and I doubt that many will be delivered....

This ceramic only has the 43mm version. It’s the titanium models that have the 43mm and 37mm options.
