My first was a RO 15300, followed by . . .

. . . an Offshore Safari, then a 15202, and an Offshore Rubberclad. Today, I have the very rare 25770 silver dial, which is easily my favorite of the Offshores I've owned.

Along the way I gave my daughter a Lady's Offshore as a graduation gift. It's stunning.

I hope I have another AP or two in my future before I call it quits. M4

1st AP? Here is mine, from 2001

 By: MichaelC : May 13th, 2021-13:48
The first time I tried on this watch, I was absolutely blown away by the finishing quality. And from that time on, AP has always been my favorite brand. ...

Thanks orahu. The photo was snapped in Maui on my honeymoon.

"Basking in the Maui Sun"... it was a reference to The Running Man movie.

Mine was a 15202 many years ago

When it was trading 18-19K USD in the pre owned market. How times have changed and alas I don’t own it anymore Best Gatsby ...

What a watch. A legend really.

 By: MichaelC : May 13th, 2021-15:07
Times sure have changed! ...

15400 was my first.

Saving up for an Offshore.

I am keen on the new 43mm line

 By: MichaelC : May 14th, 2021-12:40
And look forward to trying one.

Thank you, We are always a team here.

I learn more than I teach, that is for sure!

Mine was also a ROO.

 By: jlux : May 13th, 2021-14:37
Not my picture but it shows the model. Congratulations on your 15k achievement and thank you for the great work as our AP moderator. Best, Gerard ...

Thanks Gerard. That is a helluva photo, whoever took it.

 By: MichaelC : May 13th, 2021-15:09
And to see that model for the first time in a while, what a cool Offshore!

I remember this one very well. Here is mine.

 By: amanico : May 13th, 2021-15:09
Bought in 2006. Sold in 2009. ...

Ahhh yes, I remember this one too.

A good love you had with it. Thanks for adding the photo.

I have the same experience with Omega

 By: Weems@8 : May 13th, 2021-16:13
And from that time on, i belief Omega is the best for the money paid. But, wat a gorgeous AP Off shore you own Michael. A great watch. But 2, first i want a diver.

Omega sure does offer a lot of value for the money paid.

 By: MichaelC : May 13th, 2021-19:53
I love my AP's no doubt. But I would not include them with Omega from that standpoint.

Thank you.

My first and only.

 By: Jay (Eire) : May 13th, 2021-17:02
Bought in the end of 2013, sold in 2018 I think. I was leaning away from the Chrono but my wife swung the decision for it. In hindsight if I’d bought the 15202 I would likely still own it at it was a better size for me. This is despite my waiting for the ...

I'm a huge 39mm fan.

 By: MichaelC : May 13th, 2021-19:55
But I am quite familiar with the 41mm steel case and bracelet, and it fits me about as well. Thanks for the shot of your previous piece, a real beauty.

You possess one of my favorite AP Offshores

 By: MichaelC : May 13th, 2021-19:57
And one of the very rarest - only 132 original specimens from the factory. PS - I believe I remember the 15300 ;-)

Mine was this from May 2007

...

Titanium or steel?

 By: MichaelC : May 13th, 2021-19:57
Hard to tell in photos sometimes...

Steel

By: India Whiskey Charlie : May 13th, 2021-20:34
Titanium wasn't much lighter and a lot more costly.

And only a bit darker in color.

 By: MichaelC : May 13th, 2021-21:41
Could not go wrong, either way!

I remember when I bought mine many years ago.

15K Milestone

 By: Weems@8 : May 14th, 2021-18:24
You took the right watch to celebrate your 15K milestone.

The silver rubberclad set the AP hooks in me for good.

 By: MichaelC : May 16th, 2021-13:13
Continual love affair since.

Those are good ones to have.

 By: MichaelC : May 16th, 2021-13:15
I once owned the NY La Boutique. A big regret to not keep that one!

Agreed Michael πŸ‘
