Yes. I am hoping for some comments about movement finishing.

At this price point, I'm expecting Geneva Seal level quality finishing. No wire spring parts. And generally a top quality movement akin to Vacheron Constantin and Patek Philippe.

It’s definitely a cool watch …

Love it !

I‘d actually go for one of the gold versions to add to my collection (even though I‘ll of course never get one. There isn‘t even an AP House around)

Love the fact, that they didn‘t change the dimensions and it‘s pretty much the 15202 with a new heart and changes in the detail. Well done for that.

Its a cool watch

But not a fan of the way they included 50 in the rotor. Id rather have it written on the standard oscillating mass in some other way, in the style of the coat of arms. Prices at launch: Ref. 16202 $33,200. Ref. 16202 - $70,500. Ref. 16202 - $70,500 16202....

Me too

I dont understand how they did not expand the water resistance for these renditions!

Maybe they're actually good to 100m, but since it's the 50th anniversary AP had to stay on message

If we're still alive & kicking in 2072, we'll see the editions for that year will have 100m cases. Just you wait 😹

I do believe

 By: Eikþyrnir : January 28th, 2022-10:08
50 is enough for swimming and showering. It is not like I am going 10 bars down anyway, but it would be nice as other brands have it. Guess we just have to wait until 2072 lol!

I don't like the smoked dial on the yellow gold

 By: Credor : January 26th, 2022-20:44
I will wait for the models with the standard oscillating mass.

I share that sentiment too

 By: Eikþyrnir : January 29th, 2022-16:47
but along the way it would be cool to have a time piece with the 50 rotor.

That rotor

is fit for a Nascar... apart from that, the whole package looks good but not uber creative

God, I love this brand.

Nobody could update an icon better than AP. Bravo, I'll be thrilled to have a 50 on my rotor 😀

Same case, 39mm.

Definitely on the wishlist - I hope and wish you can be delivered on this year!! There is no more deserving advocate Cheers Peter

You sure?

Yeah. I have hunch :)

Kick ass!

Would have been cooler to do the retro dial using the original manufacturing method but otherwise…so nice 🙂

This one looks sexy!

Website says immediate availability. LMAOO

I’ve wanted the 37mm forever.

 By: Wristenthusiast : January 26th, 2022-21:33
Only One I was ever offered was the diamond bezel which I’m not a huge fan of. I like the updates. But no they are not available 🙄

New movement

 By: Miranda : January 26th, 2022-22:25

See below 🤣

 By: Miranda : January 26th, 2022-22:30

Totally new movement.

I just got home from work and need to review things, but that is my understanding.

For sure!

Oh finally!

Turning the watch backwards to 9PM and then forward to 2AM would be annoying if you had to do it for a lot of days!

Screenshot from Velociphile on IG… a very interesting account

Think he might post here as well from time to time ...

We miss him.

Beautiful!

I have always liked this watch. My love though goes towards the salmon dial white.gold one.

Thats a piece i was chasing for years, but had to give up at one point. 😋 ...

Good for you for trying it on

 By: Credor : January 27th, 2022-03:47
Dont give up the chase.

Gotta say, the movement looks much more industrial

 By: vitalsigns : January 27th, 2022-04:38
As compared to the 2120.

Yes. I am hoping for some comments about movement finishing.

How is the movement finishing?

 By: patrick_y : January 27th, 2022-09:32

No more gold rotor...

 By: fmc000 : January 27th, 2022-13:51
...on the steel version? Sounds cheap to me. Not that I'll ever come close to one, of course. I don't know, pretty boring release to me.

Not totally in love with the rotor

 By: Joel77 : January 31st, 2022-16:22
The 16202 is lovely, absolutely gorgeous, wonderful... but that rotor... in fact the rotors of ally ROO and this one are not up to the rest of the watches...

D I S A P P O I N T I N G

Nothing really interesting A little better than the inadmissible 15550 AP is walking the easy way. Siplified decoration without any hand made bevels even on the brass or gold bridges (i do not even mention the steel parts.) Industrial CNC polishong , sipl...
