Chasing the blue

Dear All, Sharing a few shots of my latest acquisition - got a surprise call just before Christmas and I’m beyond happy with it!!! The Royal Oak is the watch which started my passion for watchmaking more than 15 years ago, at that time the RO were widely ...

That first shot is stunning

Light must have hit the dial at the perfect angle. I am also surprised by the shade of blue, it looks a lot deeper and richer than I remember it.

Each shot is more bluetiful than the next, congratulations!

The wrist shots seriously look perfect on you. Which reference (or size) is this one…41mm?

15450 = 37mm

It should probably not be smaller but the size works great thanks to the case shape, even with my 18cm wrist. I also prefer the balance of the dial to the more “empty” 15500… and I have an offshore 42mm for when I want to go “big & bold”

Perfect 👏🏼

Totally agree that this is so much nicer than the “empty” dial, and the 37mm looks so close to the 39mm in fit. I’ve been thinking about this recently and wondering “since when is 37mm too small?!” as opposed to it being a classical size that we accepted ...
