The greatest AP EVER...

I love this AP, to me. i\It's simply the most desirable OffShore ever conceived, the bezel screws are

very automotive-inspired and I would like AP to adopt these to other watches in the OffShore line.

Going back to "Neo-classics"...

Hi all, It looks like the AP bug has hit me again recently! After considering several of the new pieces, I decided to acquire this wonderful "Neo-Classic" Barrichello that represents a special period where AP demonstrated the audacity and avant-garde in t...

The Survivor ruins your theory.

Whether you like it or not is irrelevant. The watch's design and execution took quite a bit of effort and the result is undeniable. And the machining was much more complicated than the Barrichello, easy for anyone to see, but also stated to me by Octavio ...

I think the Survivor really took the audacity to the limits...

That and the wonderful Team Alinghi Carbon really were bold moves by AP. Sometimes I do crave for a Survivor but am happy with my ceramic perpetual for now to complement an all black ensemble... Cheers, Peter

I feel a few others can be in the group like the Alinghi. But, to your general point about the RB2...

I will agree it is my favorite Limited Edition Offshore to date. It took seeing one live in person to truly understand how magnificent it is. And no pun intended there, but I am reminded of selling my Jarno Trulli to help fund the RB2 (and I adored the JT...

Hi Michael I also had a similar situation when I bought a Trulli many years ago. This was a really special piece in my mind but at some point I got frustrated with the softening / wear on the case, despite the material innovation with Cermet. So in this s...

Indeed - I think the model came out in 2006??

This was the same year I think where Rolex came Out with a new GMT II with a ceramic bezel, the 5130 Patek, and the Panerai 233 1950 GMT...

Wow 2006?

Love the hexagonal screws - and I hope they make them coated with Ceramic or Cermet Or even better - maybe octagonal screws? Cheers Peter

This one is my favorite of the RG Offshore models.

I think this has elevated my love for AP RG. I considered the RG Perpetual, but the bracelet is a lot of heavy metal. I see this watch as being a lot more versatile and fun at the same time - and less to worry about given the ceramics in key areas and the...

Congratulations!

The RB is one of the several most interesting and beautiful Offshores as far as I am concerned. It took me a decade to finally get a Survivor, and it took you even longer to acquire your Offshore, but that gave us time to appreciate all the details and co...

Many thanks!!!

I am afraid I am going doing a slippery (and expensive) slope of getting AP pieces! The survivor and the Grand Prix are two pieces that have haunted me for many years now I bet your survivor still looks incredible - share some pics! Peter

Late, but here you go...

I cannot tell you how much I enjoy wearing the Survivor. It actually makes me hesitate to even seriously consider another Offshore because I am not sure the Survivor will yield any wrist time. ;-) But these pics of the RBII in both metals are really excit...
