Their estimates are always much lower than what is actually realized, especially the Geneva watch auctions. Just look at that estimate for the Roger Smith. It’s silly low

I see what you mean! I think it is a trick cuz it makes people like me think they are attainable! Altho, I have seen that this model does not usually perform very well, so maybe..your next watch

Nearly piece > it appears the finish on the movement is not up to current standards though- but I think would make a great watch at that price!! Julian

And I think that the lower quality of finish adds some more character to the watch!

...you gotta be there every time. Because once in a while, something will slip through. Also, you have to make sure you have decided ahead of time what you're going to pay.
