I didn't know that there was a limited edition in the limited edition. I just discovered that a few " JPM ", 20, according to Antiquorum, had the JPM signature on their case back. Each time I see one, I regret having let mine go. What a cool Royal Oak! Be...

JPM is truly special!

One of the few that I noticed even back then - I have to say the strap was what piqued my interest back in the day. Years and years before PuristSPro, of course

Quite enjoyed JPM as a driver, too :)

They are mostly a bit more anodyne these days, with the possible exception of Kimi

Exactly! [nt]

Only 20... that is a true Limited Edition for sure

The JPM elicited very strong reaction when it was released

Hi, Nico, The JPM was (one of) the first piece from the Phillip Vaptzerof era, a true high point of audacity and design in the Royal Oak and Offshore timeline. AP frequently did a sub-series "Friends and Family" within a larger limited edition. Ironically...

Thanks for your feedback, Thomas. Interesting to see that...

Some watches receiving " a cold welcome " have their hour of glory after a while. I always loved that one. For its elements of style borrowed to automotive universe in a quite inspired way, in my opinion. Best, Nicolas

Saw that Antiquorum had 2 of these JPMs in their weekend auction

The signed one found a buyer but the other one was unsold. I am partial to colored gold so the RG JPM is probably the only ROO that I would consider.

Yes, as Thomas mentioned, it's definitely a "friends and family" edition.

I saw the 48mm rose gold Arnold All Stars version with "To our Governator" on the back. That was quite the special piece. However, the JPM ain't too shabby either

I share the same liking for JPM LE...

particularly the Ti model which is light and very comfortable on the wrist. To me, JPM had set a new design milestone for the ROO line when it was introduced in the 90s, with many strong design elements still influencing the line. The "Friends and Family"...

Does anyone else wonder whether the Offshore will continue to inspire us?

Into the future... It's the 25th anniversary coming up in 2018!?
