I own a Code and never had any problems while wearing it in the pool or beach. If you are a diver, get a Seadweller. Otherwise for us mortals, the water resistance on this AP should suffice.

3 ATM is only good enough to get rained on. People may tell you their 3 ATM watch has been OK whilst swimming but that is a disaster waiting to happen. Swimming generates much higher water pressures than 3 ATM. Your watch has to be at least 5 ATM for surf...
