yes, its true they modified the case... this watch is absolutely stunning. All concept design is the future, they introduced first in 2002 to me back then is out of this world., this is truly one amazing watch and design .

The 2018 SIHH version, 44mm sandblasted titanium with ceramic bezel. Sanblasted titanium, some also blackened, is utilized on the dial components. ...

One have to give AP credit for doing something different and special.

But the whole RO Concept line is not really my cup of tea. Thanks for sharing, Michael.

My feeling is similar.

But . . . I'll bet it's quite a specimen to behold in the hand. M4

I also agree with you.

I respect the creation, but in this realm, I find other options more appealing.

... Does it appear to be completely massive? - Scott

Listed at 44mm. It would be interesting to compare on the wrist to an Offshore chronograph 44mm.

That watch is my limit for AP, and admittedly, not as good as a 42mm Offshore on my wrist.

Amazing.

Favorite AP personally. Cheers, Filip

Very well said. Polarizing watches are most rewarding to me.

The 15202 is an exception, everyone loves it and it is that awesome. Most of my other ones are not universally appealing, but they appeal to me, and that is the most important part of my buying decision.

Absolutely agree with you Michael

If we think about the RO when it has been released in 1972, I’m quite sure customers and collectors were very divided at that time. And today, it’s an icon! Best wishes Alkiro

Important to note Michael.....

......that the case design has been modified and it now fits smaller wrists much better. I could never wear previous iterations of the Concept but the new one fits perfectly. Bravo AP for listening to me and many others on this specific point. ...

The size would not deter me, I wear a 44mm Offshore chronograph.

The back on that one is all flat. I bet the Concept is comfortable. My reasons for agreeing with Volker above are in no way for the size. Thanks for your input, Conkers.

Yes v comfy.

When I put on the older ones, there were always big gaps under the lugs and this effect was exacerbated with the v inflexible Kevlar strap which is one of the strap options. With the new model I didn’t compare side by side but although the case back is fl...

Good design decision by AP. That is what I notice with the 44 chrono...

The gaps below the strap attachment areas are a little bigger. My wrist is very flat on top and does not round out, so I can wear larger watches with flat casebacks. But the curved lugs would make it even better. Keep us posted if you add one!

I have something more special coming first!

Do you have small hands?

 By: Garyhsmith : April 13th, 2018-15:46
44mm is big (in my opinion) for a watch but the picture makes it look like you’re holding a small clock. It’s a superb creation but I question the rationale behind the dimensions.

That is not me holding the watch. It was someone from AP.

I just posted the photo sent to me. I recommend you look in person. I just bought a 45mm watch which wears very similar to my 39mm Royal Oak. You can't judge from just a photo like this.
