After the SIHH, my fav version of the Offshore was without any doubt the blue dial one. Simply because I was seduced by its dial colour, its more casual design and the effecient rubber strap. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to handle them again at the Pa...  

... what would be very problematic for me are the black numerals and hands, making night visibility an illusion. Even if this is black pigmented SuperLuminova (is it?), it is next to useless in practical conditions. This would also put me off the Safari v... 

But you are right, still not ideal in night time situations. And you have already identified my reason for passing on the blue dial. I will highlight this issue in my coming post.

at SIHH was the grey one, but it isn´t anymore. Now I prefer the blue one and have a serious weakness for the "Safari" :-) Cheers, Oliver

Likely my favorite new version Oliver. And that is contrary to my original opinion of it based upon photos. Seeing them in person really makes the difference!

As they relate to these references. The grey piece is quite discrete for a 42mm Royal Oak Offshore.

I was getting close to purchasing the 42mm Offshore chronograph-- Gray titanium model. I have never seen that model in person. I did see the new releases a couple of weeks ago. I realize the gray color is a bit different and as much as i loved the dial---... 

Very understated, especially when wrapped in plastic.
