I am working on the 11.59 case, and I will defend him. Yes, yes. Let me a bit less than ten more days and I will start pleading for it. [nt]

does the silence from most reporters either in the paid sector ( Hodinkee etc) or non paid like Purist say anything about this new line. I am a bit surprised that there has been very little other the responses on Instagram from the general punters Any tho...

IMHO, AP needs some creative juice

Here’s one on my wrist today for their consideration. ;-) ...

Well, that is similar to the old Jules Audemars line, which they chose to replace.

That does not seem the creative direction they are going for.

There's an article in Esquire online titled, "The Best New Watches Of 2019 (So Far)" that lists it with a very brief description.

So at least one publication feels it deserves to be mentioned. I admit, I like the model quite a bit.

The white gold chrono with black dial isn’t half bad. The other models are meh IMO

That said, once the 11.59s are worn by celebs and athletes (and they will be!) they will be in demand, especially given limited initial production

Nothing behind the scenes with regards to this website.

I am the AP Moderator here and did not attend SIHH. I learned about the collection when they launched it. I have not yet seen any of these models live. I am not prone to knee-jerk reactions. I don't need to be the funny man and make stupid jokes, or make ...

Most of the comments is targeted at the dial designs

Full agreed that the new movements bring lots of excitement among collectors. I owned a few APs over the years and this is certainly a much welcomed direction. The potential of having the new chronograph movement in a Royal Oak is a mouthwatering prospect...

Dial can be easily fixed in the next iterations...

If they admit their mistake.

I saw a youtube video about it.

The watch seems technically interesting. And the styling, especially the case construction and hanging lugs, has an interesting design. I just wish they had picked a better name for the line. Code 11.59? What does this mean? Does it refer to a codeword? D...

C.O.D.E apparently stands for...

Challenge Own Dare Evolve and the 11:59 is to indicate that the watch is avant-garde and the sign of a new dawn (being the minute just before midnight. I hope that this helped. I’m hopeful that the new chrono movement will be added to the RO & ROC chronos...

Or for those countries (like Germany) who use a 24-hour clock.....

thank you. this helps!

While there is no denial that the response (or lack of) has been lukewarm and not an instant hit, the new line obv is in nascent stage. Give it time to evolve - most constituents of Code...

...line are admirable- case, dials, n mvmts- it just has to come together in better way. All in time! I have to say comparatively Cartier did a job when they introduced new designs - Cle, Drive, Balloon, Ronde etc. But maybe with AP the expectations were ...
