Hi guys, pls give some advices. I saw this piece in platinum available in Tokyo online and I’m heading there real soon. Seriously thinking about buying it. Do you think it’s a good piece to own? I don’t have any perp calendar yet in my collection. It’s 36...

I believe there are more interesting dial variations than this. Have You done some research to see what other variations there are or does the white dial fit your day to day?

Personally I don't find this dial (and therefore this specific watch) that appealing. There's a blue dial however with some texture that's just fantastic.

The one in blue

Yes I know there is one in blue with textured dial, but that one costs significantly more, like 3 times more..

This is good advice

AP service is expensive. I owned the 3940 before in 36mm and find myself did not wear it much. It needs to be on winder all the time. Something you may want to consider.

I had one in gold for awhile & found it underwhelming

IMHO, there are many more interesting perpetual calendars out there. Happy hunting, Cazalea

Now THIS is how legible dials are done...

...and I even like the size. If I could get it for a good price I would. But I'd almost want it as a second PC with the first being something like a 3940.

I was looking at this exact watch about a year ago

I really like platinum and I am an AP Fan but but I was concerned that it would wear too small due to the short lugs

I own one and my advise is you need to see a video of this rather than just the pics to absorb what a catch it is. The smaller watches never quite catch...
