This AP Royal Oak 15202 “Extra-Thin” with a green dial. The case and bracelet are made from platinum. It certainly looks very cool ! ...

Nice Moser.

Royal Moaker?

Also, I think we are conditioned to see a Tapisserie dial.

And when we don’t it looks a little odd. That’s also a factor in play here with my reaction and perhaps that of others. It’s just looks odd because it’s not what we are used to.

Might be a stupid question...

But is green the official colour of AP?

I like this green dial better. Both the shade (more dull/subtle) and the patisserie.

I wonder how it would look with a white metal bracelet? Credit SJX ...

Can we please update the JLC movement (while still having the same thickness) to...

 By: K-Lo : March 19th, 2021-08:11
- be more robust to shock.... - have a longer power reserve.... - quick date change..... - maybe bring the more elegant designed rotor back, this current one is a bit too industrial to me..... Heck, if anything, pay JLC to do it, since it’s their movement...

Hi Ted ...

Personally, I think they should take the opportunity to redesign the movement and open a new chapter for AP.

Yes! I guess I meant to say that, broadly speaking, just had some specific quibbles...

I think it’s a little challenge to the “industry,” also, I think this 1972 released movement, obviously designed well before that, is still, from what I know, the thinnest full rotor-ed automatic movement. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

No.

Not my cup of tea. The tapisserie dial is synonymous with the Royal oak. Without it it looks off

$105K seems a bit overboard

 By: logan2z : March 19th, 2021-23:27
I realize the case and bracelet are platinum, but $105K seems a bit over the top for this watch. And, as others have said, the watch just feels 'off' without a tapisserie dial.

Horrendous
