The 15202.ST. Rising star on the grey marketplace. Waiting lists are getting full and delivery time is getting longer and longer. Will it ever enter Nautilus waters? In some way it is strange that it has always stayed ‘behind’ the Nautilus (monetary wise ...

Beautiful photo

and that bracelet is one of nicest ever made. Cheers D

I don’t have a definitive answer of course, and usually a number of factors go into determining why a watch is more successful than another...

But if I have to pick only one, then I would definitely say brand recognition of PP over AP. Nonetheless, the RO is one beautiful watch!😉

Great pic my friend . [nt]

Trying to apply our 'collector's PoV' whether emotional or rational is not applicable. Most sales are made to the consumer mass and they buy a PP because it's a PP and probably dont know any more. At the bubble peak in London, tourists were coming off bus...

Nautilus over Royal Oak

 By: Bokfu : January 31st, 2019-13:02
No offense on either brand since Patek and AP are both favorite brands of mine. I think 5711 has a slight edge over 15202. I own both and find that 5711 is more accurate with the new and improved movement from the original one. Whereas 15202 is still usin...

Agreed on the time and date setting on the RO

It is an ergonomic nightmare! I got very lucky that a friend managed to score me an AP time setting tool while he was at the AP manufacturing plant and that really makes a huge difference! That device should actually be a standard item in the watch box. R...

Picture of the date/time setting tool ...

Would you mind sharing a picture of your date/time setting tool? I’m interested to see how it looks like. Thanks.

Don’t mind at all

Will dig it out of the man cave this weekend

The integrated bracelet for any of these Royal Oaks works only for a certain percentage of potential wearers. It looks great on some people and terribly ill-fitting on others. I would gladly own one of these but for that problem.
