... That Mr Genta took inspiration from Geneva’s sewer plates for the Royal Oak dial?
Heard it many times but always wondered if it’s some kind of urban legend...
Not sure about Geneva but Zurich’s sewer plates certainly match the Mega Tapisserie

Ironically the Grand Tapisserie dials are made by a cadran manufacture called Stern !
