Your sentiments nail it. Not a watch for every day and all outfits, but super special. I give AP a lot of credit for the "smoked dial" rage too; every brand has adopted this idea but AP makes them look amazing.

Whilst β€˜tapisserie’ may be part of the DNA, I believe the more fundamental part of the Royal Oak is its majestic case complemented by its great bracelet. Again, if you are only going to have one and only one RO, perhaps its safer to go with the traditiona...

The watch is the consequence of the relationship I hold with a particular AP House. As soon as I learned about this watch, I signalled I was highly interested and followed up numerous times until I got a great sms saying it was waiting for me in the shop....
