1815 Chrono 402.026
Hi All,
Just wanted to share a pic of my 1815 402.026 that I acquired about 2 months ago.

I have been eyeing this watch for sometime, and was nearly distracted by the Saxonia Annual Calender and new 1815 up/down but as a member of this forum advised me "..a chronograph movement maybe the best way to enter Lange world!" Am I glad I listened to him! Thank you Forversta.
From what i read off the internet, I know the 402.026 is not the most popular ALS model around; it appears a lot more collectors prefer its predecessor. Some find it too bland and dull etc. For me, it's cool, sombre, clean cut look reminiscence of the vintage Lange pocket watches was just perfect.

The bezel construct and silve/white face made the watch wear larger than its actual 39.5 diameter. I am especially sensitive to size as some of my favourite pieces were 44mm and above (eg a pam 190, a vintage ploprof etc) but I find it just right, especia...
