When family starts appreciating the art!

I’ve so far been classified as certifiable mad by my family when it comes to watches. They don’t quite get it, don’t want to get it, and just balk at the statement that one watch ain’t enough.

On my recent birthday however, my sister who is one of the many artists in the family, decided to make a coaster with a 3D graphic of the watch she sees me wear the most. I think this might well be a turning point smile

In any case, I’m appreciative of this. Hand made. What else can I say?

I managed to convince her to buy an Omega some years back and until now, it remains her only watch.

So true

I guess when they start to accept our madness it is a good sign? ;-)

I'm fortunate that the only family that matters to me is my wife and she loves fine timepieces as much as I do. In fact she has encouraged me to buy a watch even after buying 2 or 3

in a row (when I should take a break!) becuase it was a super deal or was a rare find. Yeah, some other extended family members are left scratching their heads. Who cares!

Sweet sister!
