The WG version does looks good and striking too...

Actually I’m also tempted to add that, still thinking....I meant it’s just like people getting the Aquanauts 5167 and 5168, similar but different.
You’re welcome 👌🏻

I’m still in love with this, after more than a year. ...

Happy wrist :)

Such a beautiful picture

Thank you kindly!

There’s a lot to process in the beginning and ...

 By: Clueless_Collector : January 4th, 2021-12:19
a lot of comparisons but eventually, the design and purpose made its point.

The crowd is always tough to please and there are no way to make everyone happy...

I agree they did the right thing on this watch.

It’s attractive in many angles

 By: Clueless_Collector : January 4th, 2021-13:09
Like you said, it’s sharp and good contrast ...

There are some nice textures to it too

 By: Clueless_Collector : January 4th, 2021-14:19
...

Yes. Simply gorgeous!

 By: orahu : January 4th, 2021-14:43

I am sure there is still alot to discover

A year might not be enough 🤔

You’re probably right...

 By: Clueless_Collector : January 4th, 2021-14:20
I will need more time with it but it’s not going anywhere so I’m ok

Well if Lange ever deems me worthy I might join you with one but I am really hoping they come out with another version, possibly a chrono as I originally wanted in SS...

If the Odysseus had the Datograph/1815 chronograph movement, I would be all over it in a heartbeat 😉😜😁

You must be kidding, Justin,...with your collection, it’s only a matter of want or not 😉, not what they deem...

 By: Clueless_Collector : January 4th, 2021-15:05
With the integrated pusher design, you might be spot on....a SS Sports Chrono in the Odyseuss family is highly possible....damn, I need to stand saving now. I was expecting a Lumen as well....because the Phantom is out of reach so this is a good alternati...

I know, right? Many, if the Dato or 1815 movement came in the Odysseus case and bracelet, I would be all over that with a quickness 😉😁

 By: holdemchamp1225 : January 5th, 2021-11:28
Your Lumen idea isn't bad either Raymond. So many possibilities so let's see how Lange plays it out for this line 🤔 😉

I do have to see one in person at some point.

Do like the pics 👌🏻

Having finally seen one in the metal last week (WG on rubber) I can say now I understand it better.

 By: Jay (Eire) : January 5th, 2021-05:46
Only seeing pictures it was hard to make a decision but in the metal (and on my wrist) the watch did leave a positive impression on me. I think I prefer the dial of the WG but I think a bracelet is a must as this is what the watch was built to be mounted ...

The WG version does looks good and striking too...

Yes, and I am waiting :)

rooting for a lumen version, but will probably be in Pt, which will need some savings :P

I wish I can...

 By: Tchela1 : January 5th, 2021-19:09
But, I don’t even know where to begin. Love it!

Yes you definitely can...

 By: Clueless_Collector : January 5th, 2021-19:12
The "relationship" building should be easier than how you established getting the T-Nautis. If you can share more, here or via DM, I can let you know because I have some experience on both brands you can reference

I’ve tried locally here

 By: Tchela1 : January 5th, 2021-19:27
In the Bay Area, but couldn’t get anything I really wanted, and definitely not any of the limited editions. See...it’s not always “rosey” outside of Tiffany. ;-)

Ah ok, if you don’t like or cannot find anything you really want, then it’s a different story...

 By: Clueless_Collector : January 5th, 2021-19:36
If you like and can start somewhere, the bar is definitely lower relative to your Tiffany PP, and I meant the unicorns you show.

I guess I’ll have to start somewhere!

 By: Tchela1 : January 5th, 2021-20:09
Thank you, tho!

Love mine as well. Perfect on the wrist.

Are you still sporting bezel and lug protectors?

Yeah, embarrassed to say but I like my watches pristine...

 By: Clueless_Collector : January 6th, 2021-08:19
And Lange’s protectors are done well, very discreet. So unless they start to show peeling, I like to leave them on. I’m a very careful person, and these watches are very dear to me. Wearing my 6yr old 5726 today and still looking great. That’s just me ...

Beautiful watch my friend

 By: singingbee : January 12th, 2021-20:17
I am loving mine too, it’s quickly becoming my favourite piece in a small collection.

Very practical and has all the hallmarks of a Lange

 By: rnaden : January 25th, 2021-02:46
Nice size, versatile, automatic, big date and day.....everything you need in an everyday watch, and one that’s as immaculately made as all Lange’s are. Hard not to love, or even to be that “one watch”. Richard

That’s why they advertised as an Active watch, fit for many activities.

 By: Clueless_Collector : January 25th, 2021-08:53
The day-date adjustment is so simple and execution all around feels solid. Thanks Richard.

Great photo

How does the watch fit on the wrist and does the bracelet hug the wrist as well as the Nautilus’ bracelet ? The problem I had with the AP is that the bracelet juts out and leaves a vacuum between my wrist and the watch. The perils of having small wrists 🤯...

I have no issues wearing this watch and it’s comfortable.

 By: Clueless_Collector : January 25th, 2021-08:56
Someone in Singapore is “flipping” an Odysseus on a famous platform, owner will risk of blacklisted. I can understand your description on AP bracelet because of the hard corners/edges but this one and the Nautilus is smooth.

Sorry I don’t quite understand

 By: Mr.Gatsby : January 25th, 2021-09:20
the purpose of that flipper reference?

Not specific referencing but it’s just Singapore is a very small country...

 By: Clueless_Collector : January 25th, 2021-09:48
Singapore Tatler and other magazines always show the similar collector circle and famous faces I’m just curious if you know that owner....don’t get me wrong.

I wouldn’t know :-)

 By: Mr.Gatsby : January 25th, 2021-10:20
I don’t follow Tatler and am unaware of who the big collectors are. I’m just quietly living in my corner and pop up occasionally on this platform to post a couple of photos

There are quite a few who flipped the Odysseus in Singapore already

 By: singingbee : January 25th, 2021-17:59
I saw the one which was posted on C24 awhile back. It’s definitely not a desirable scenario especially for legit collectors who really want the watch and still waiting.

Well if there are underground flips then I’m not aware but it took about a year before I found a flipper on a trading platform....

 By: Clueless_Collector : January 25th, 2021-20:58
In that sense the brand did a great job allocating the watch only to its loyal collectors in the beginning.

Me too mate...

 By: Mr.Gatsby : February 2nd, 2021-08:08
Don’t see much flipping action but they are picking up ever so slightly of late...I reckon singingbee is right ....
