The lumen has really grown on me.
There is something to be said for a dial that is always different depending on the type and intensity of the light.
In particular I think watches that have that "stay interesting" to the owner because you always see something slightly different. This effect is almost, by definition, hard to capture in one or a few pics. However, the watch will give you "flashes" of all those pics you have seen ..
One thing you have done well is the pics you have posted--they really show some variety..
Btw, I think the Journe Chronometre Bleu falls in that category as well. It always gives you something different to look at.
