The Hodinkee writeup spoke to this and says...

"...there are unfortunately no plans to bring back the Cabaret as a regular production watch, although it's fantastic to see even this limited return of the model. The problem, Anthony de Haas told us, is that the Cabaret, while definitely a passion project for the company, never performed all that well commercially."

Only LE's - impossible to buy. Probably all allocated.

The only thing that interests me here is the Cabaret - can this be the start of a come-back for the Cabaret-family?

I agree...I've been waiting for the return of a non-round watch...

...but from this photo it looks huge. Of course, if I can't ever buy one I'm not sure why I should care. I've been feeling like that a lot these days.

A come-back of the Cabaret family?

No, I doubt it. It seems to be only a new but very attractive packaging for unsold pieces. Movement N. are in the 60k.

What no green dials?!

Blue dials are so 2019! Joking aside, they look great. Thanks for the picture. All the best. Jon

I didn’t expect the cabaret

But a welcome sight. Hopefully it is here to stay.

I recall a conversation, maybe here, several months ago about this.

Many stated that it would be impractical for Lange to bring it back as the demand would never justify the investment. Happy to see that was wrong. Hopefully we can see a broader range in the future, not just at the top end of the price point.

I didn’t read the H article, thank you for pointing it out.

I guess this was (is) the consensus, commercially it doesn’t make sense, and Lange are confirming such. We will certainly be seen again I would think, but it seems we will not see a Caberet for the wider audience.

Cabaret occupies an interesting space among enthusiasts: Widely admired, rarely purchased.

I remember seriously pondering this years ago, with the limited (gray dial) LOG Cabaret. It was a really attractive watch, but I knew I'd never wear it so I decided to pass on it.

That’s the perfect summary. Widely admired, rarely purchased.

We should start a separate thread on that theme as the Caberet would not be alone in that category.

Nicely put!

A slight correction

Only 30 pieces for the Cabaret.

I lost the track. :)

Form Movement Hand wound Power Reserve of 120 hours Handwerkskunst Unique dial finish Tourbillon with stop mechanism LE of 30 pieces ensuring exclusivity The price though is steep at Euro 315,000 incl VAT. I am sure that all pieces are spoken for. Cheers
