I'd probably want to wear it on my wrist just to confirm it's not too thick. I tend to go for thinner watches personally.

Try to get that Moonphase one Sham1! That's the one to get! 1815 Moonphase timepieces have always been thin, not too big, and a cool mechanism!

I did own the 1815. moonphase once and I have since sold it. Somehow moonphases I have realised do not appeal to me as much as a simple dress watch.

but unfortunately I have no more kidneys to sell... These pieces are winners at the pinnacle of fine German watchmaking. The ultra-thin is classy, the Rattrapante innovative and the Tourbograph is the best one of its kind to-date. Best Sam

The 1815 Rattrapante and the Tourbograph PLM PC come with 18mm deployants. It's unclear if the latter is the heavier, detachable style that comes with the Lange 31 and Terraluna. In any case, it appears that Lange is now making at least one type of 18mm d... 

I'm not sure if the Rattrapante comes with a deployant or not. I've seen conflicting information about that.

That Honey Gold 1815 Moonphase is fantastic and it's not very thick neither!

The eggshell of FA 200th Anniversary is the perfect dial to highlight this case. Just my personal opinion of course.

Or, perhaps an eggshell colour dial with the honey gold. Not convinced of the honey gold case and black dial combination, but so hard to tell in these press photos. If it was in platinum I would be obsessed and thinking about what to sell to help fund the... 

Would really depend on case shape and how it sits on the wrist. To be honest part of me is quite relieved it’s not in platinum, but sad I most likely won’t get to see this in the metal.

When new and outdoors it is just a little coloured, almost like wg, a very pale rg. Indoors it catches the light and looks more like pale yg. When it has aged, than outdoors more like rg and indoors like yg. If you polish the case, all starts again.

Because I love the 1815 line and I love the Rattrapante.

You can see the relief/applied numerals markings along the circumference of the dial in the tourb! Quite amazing detail.

If money isn’t a constrain and size didn’t matter, then the tourbograph has to be the one. But because both of these are actual constrains, the 1815 Thin HG is the one for me. I find it pretty special...although it looks kinda normal at first sight.

I like this model as well. But I bet I'd still defer to the 1815 Moonphase in honey gold if I had a direct comparison. For a "thin" watch the 1815 Thin isn't that thin.

The 1815 Thin definitely has a lot of good qualities! Slightly lower production numbers. The enamel dial is nice, but the guilloche dial of the 1815 Moonphase is nice too. The 212.050 also has a Honey Gold balance cock in the movement! Which is very diffi...
