Not bad at all...

Imagine the 5 pc bracelet without the lugs directly integrated to the case...will be good too !

Both work for me .

 By: ZSHSZ : October 26th, 2019-23:33
The way it should look .

Agree!

 By: radone : October 27th, 2019-00:31
Cleaner and simpler! Best from Bucharest, R

I find it "annoying" to reduce the watch down to the bracelet only

By: COUNT DE MONET : October 26th, 2019-23:42
This watch has got one thing that a Nautilus or a Royal Oak has not to offer and this one thing is the essence of watch making: it has got an in-house balance spring. Only Rolex too offers an, metal alloy, in-house balance spring in the sport watch depart...

I also appreciate innovation and exclusivism

 By: radone : October 27th, 2019-00:33
Still, I find it hard to compromise on the aesthetics of a watch. It surely is the first thing that catches my attention. Best, R

H. Moser and Cie makes

Their own balance springs too.

Good point! [nt]

 By: amanico : October 27th, 2019-01:09

Honestly: I already miss the original bracelet if I see so many alternatives :-)!

By: COUNT DE MONET : October 27th, 2019-01:14
I do not like polished interlinks on a steel watch, hence the Nautilus is too flashy. This bracelet is top!

Unfortunately you wear the bracelet not the balance spring .

 By: ZSHSZ : October 27th, 2019-02:33
If a watch looks unappealing, the technical part stinks ... But to each his own

Definitely not...

 By: recoveringwatchaholic : October 27th, 2019-00:38
...the Speedmaster bracelet. Left one isn't bad.

Glad to see so many thoughts on this

 By: Esharp : October 27th, 2019-01:31
I would not prefer the Speedmaster bracelet: too sporty, too brash for a Lange. The one on the left, with some additional faceting and refinement, is pretty much what I have in mind: a certain German heft and simplicity without being loud or gimmicky. Bes...

On all alternative bracelets it looks like a watch

By: COUNT DE MONET : October 27th, 2019-01:58
On the original bracelet it looks like a Lange.

I totally share your assessment!

 By: tempus : October 27th, 2019-02:32
With simple words straight to the point: The original design makes it a sports watch and still looks like a Lange! The others make it look just like a watch! I like it and I am pretty sure it is very nice in person. Best Tempus

Both are worse than the original, IMHO!

 By: Speedie74 aka Mr. Torquise : October 27th, 2019-04:30
Please don’t forget: we are speaking about a Lange, not about a daily beater Submariner or Speedmaster. I think a “normal” bracelet, which sits between in the lugs, matches not to the character of the Odysseus: it is a strong watch with great complication...

Looks quite good on leather

 By: Maltie : October 27th, 2019-06:51
...

Much nicer [nt]

 By: Mister M : October 27th, 2019-07:15

Looks also(!) good [nt]

By: COUNT DE MONET : October 27th, 2019-08:19

To be honest, the wrist shots with the bracelet look great to me.

 By: Spangles - Dr. Tabby : October 27th, 2019-09:31
This watch has full ALS DNA to my eyes (even if the bracelet isn't designed in-house). Asking for someone else's bracelet isn't the right direction, at least for me. This watch isn't like anything on the market in its class and the quality will, I believe...

+1...so far the wrist shots online has been very attractive...I still like it.

 By: Clueless_Collector : October 27th, 2019-09:46
Once the other photoshop bracelets or left ears show up, it all makes sense the original looks better and right. Again, it’s my opinion.

Agreed. I've seen the mock-ups on different bracelets, on the croc strap, etc., and I think the original bracelet...

 By: CR : October 27th, 2019-11:50
... looks best, especially from the wrist shots. Still, I'm not in love with the overall design and I tend to dislike stick markers in general, but I think the Odysseus line has potential.

I believe the watch has full ALS DNA...

 By: destrodan : October 27th, 2019-13:45
...and it is to be admired for that...but...the bracelet seems to me to be derivative without any real connection to ALS that I can discern. As others have pointed out, it seems to be a bit of Glashutte Original/IWC with the clasp and a bit of JLC with th...

A unique part of the bracelet...

 By: recoveringwatchaholic : October 27th, 2019-16:23
...can be seen once you flip it over. Their push button link (not the clasp) adjustment system is brilliant. Still going to see what they come up with for v2

Also note how many bars are used in the bracelets

By: COUNT DE MONET : October 28th, 2019-03:01
I am sure this bracelet will not stretch a micro meter in 20 years time!

Thank you!

 By: destrodan : October 28th, 2019-07:19
Just what I was looking for. I'll look closer when my AD gets one in stock. Kind regards, Dan

Fantastic reiteration... especially on leather. One wonders why ALS

 By: kesharoo : October 27th, 2019-19:33
decided to go big. Makes it look clunky.

remember Lange has previously had bracelets

 By: vuillaume : October 27th, 2019-21:24
That were not Rolex like www.google.com

One on the right

 By: watch-er : October 28th, 2019-07:10
nails it. Since the watch delivers in April next year from what I hear, maybe this change is possible as an alternative to the prototype displayed.

I am loving Rubber straps these days.

 By: SamEE : October 28th, 2019-14:48
I think it would look great with a Rubber strap.

A good watch looks good on any strap or bracelet

By: COUNT DE MONET : October 29th, 2019-15:33
Hope to see it soon but I think it is a very, very nice watch: - some nice complications to play with - substantial but elegant enough and timeless - perfect movement to case ratio of a lovely, new movement with an inhouse balance spring - very masculine ...

I admire your persistence and loyalty, however it's like putting on a fantastic pair of trousers and the shoes don't look quite right.

 By: Mister M : October 30th, 2019-00:47
I think ALS missed the mark. If I buy a watch with a bracelet, it's unlikely I would change the strap. If I wanted a watch with a leather strap I would buy another one. It's not a matter of what the watch looks like on other straps, it's whether it looks ...

Thank you for your input

By: COUNT DE MONET : October 30th, 2019-03:57
I do like it on the bracelet, a lot. It gives the watch a very strong presence and that is all about this watch: a solid but noble steel watch. The small second gives it a marine chrononeter feel and is a brilliant choice from Lange. Competitor are more a...

I'm not sure about this model

 By: socabaptist : October 31st, 2019-11:30
I like this watch but to me the bracelet lets it down. I think this would look better on a strap, but the whole point of this watch is to exist on the bracelet. The bracelet feels like an afterthought here. It's rumored that Genta would design the bracele...

Both of these options looks better...

 By: smartbot : November 7th, 2019-18:57
I hope they have more strap options in the future.
