Out for a walk with my two favourite Germans. He’s a Schnauzer mix, and one of the few things that is able to divert my attention from my 1815 Up/Down!

And you are so right. I almost bought this piece in 2015, went with something else instead, still one of the most amazing pieces. This is just me, but a date instead of a seconds hand would have been what i needed to buy this watch. A most enjoyable movem... 

this watch has an additional hidden complication - when the power dries down the watch stops with the second hand at Zero. Not a big deal but still a good distinctive feature. [nt]

And wind it then, when you watch has run down? Its a nice feature, yet i dont understand how to use it. Am i right with my idea?

yes, I figured this would be the proper technique for this watch (as it indeed starts running immediately after you start winding it), but never do it myself this way )) [nt]

O no, this watch doesn’t need a date window, it keep the seconds sub dial it’s gorgeous
