I also like how the seconds hand stops at 0/60 when power reserve goes to zero, wonder how they do that? It is a great feature and I’m sure was explained somewhere before but can anyone help enlighten me again? Thank you 🙏🏻 ...
He is correct

Others do this as well. From my memory I know the 1815 Up/Down does this as well. Essentially the watch has predicted it's own death!

This is a completely androgynous reference in my opinion - and looks fantastic on your wrist. Would be such an easy watch to leave the boutique with were it presented. Thanks for sharing, Colton
I think so too...

Similarly the RG version with moonphase and the Saxonia Copper Blue Being a boutique limited edition just add more appeal to it so we decided It over the other brown and grey, which is less “exotic” 😬 My pleasure, Colton 🙏🏻 ...

I just looked for this piece at the wempe boutique when visiting Berlin, but only found the grey one (see photo). I found the grey version underwhelming compared to the photos on the internet. I was looking for a second watch for my wife. I’m intrigued th...

They only have the grey and brown. This purple is a boutique edition so you won’t find it in ADs. The date background will be hard to match for purple so white is logical choice but I do agree it may be a little distracting in my case where the tenth wind...
No no no, I’m the eunuch 😳🤣

Thanks my friend ...

I BELIEVE,( but could be wrong!) that the way it works is that the power reserve doesn't actually hit zero. As you get closer to zero, the accuracy of operation decreases, so I believe there is a level just above zero. After this level is reached, it wait...
A beautiful dial!
By: TheWindingStem : November 8th, 2018-22:02
i had the opportunity to see all 3 dials at SIHH and they are very special! Now regarding your question- i had the same inquiry as to how that happens and Lange told me that when the power reserve runs out a lever is activated that kicks the seconds hand ...

I think it is a neat feature, and next time I’ll pay attention to when the seconds hand will start moving after winding the watch. I think we can utilize this and yes, a zero reset will be better for setting the time.
Honestly, i don't think zero-reset belongs to Lange 1

The calibre 121.1 is a totally new, built from the ground-up movement with two major goals in mind from what i was told. First, making sure that the seconds hand is directly driven by the 4th wheel as opposed to being connected through additional gears. T...

36.8mm is the perfect size for a Lange !! And it suits your wrist perfectly
I agree totally
By: sham1 : November 8th, 2018-22:44
but at 41mm, the lugs had better be small and curving downwards
This video by Lange explains it:
By: skyeriding : November 9th, 2018-03:48
youtu.be There is a finger on the seconds hand wheel. The finger gets blocked by a lever when the power reserve is low - preventing the watch from ticking. Regards, skyeriding
Nice 👍🏻. Thanks for sharing this info 🙏🏻
