Lange &Sohne Langematik Wempe Edition. Yellow Gold of Platinum?

Jan 12, 2022,18:56 PM

I don't have a picture of the third version, which came in a LE of 25 pieces only in rose gold, while the platinum and the yellow gold came in 100 pieces each.

The Platinum:

The Yellow Gold,

And, as a bonus, a picture movement:

Cold and modern or warmer and a bit more retro looking, for you?

Best,

Nicolas

Recently I find myself leaning towards rose and yellow. Perhaps it’s an aging thing !

I have a preference for the platinum on my own wrist. But I can appreciate the warm allure of RG & YG.

The discontinued 921 automatic movement is the real star here. One of Lange’s best and IMO still an under appreciated sleeper for collectors.

I prefer platinum.
