I have a personal rule when it comes to brands such as Lange: One movement, one watch. As I owned the Langematik Anniversary, I passed on the Langematik Wempe Edition. A nice watch, though, which I like a lot. In platinum: In Yellow Gold: And a view to it...  

Without an outsize date and manual wind. This watch is perfectly fine, but with my limited means, I couldn’t see myself straying from the Lange 1 or Datograph.

I always wondered why the chronograph was not more practical, at least for me. Would love a 12 hour chronograph on it.

But I am drawn to the Duometre moonphase 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

...but once you get into Annual Calendars (and PCs of course) autos make more sense. But there is still the 'romanticism' of winding a Patek 5270 for instance...decisions, decisions.

why buy another watch with the same movement when that slot can be better occupied with a watch that gives you a different experience.

If that were the new practice, some watch brands would not be able to afford new factories costing hundreds of millions... LOL Best Thomas
