Lange & Sohne Langematik Limited Edition for Wempe, in yellow gold.

The Langematik for Wempe, I could see it in platinum, and in rose gold, but in yellow gold, never!

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to see one and to photograph it, thanks to NinoItaliano.

Issued in these three versions in 2005, curiously in a limited edition of 100 pieces in platinum and in yellow gold, and only 25 pieces in rose gold, this watch has some nice proportions, with a 40, 6 mm case.

The choice of yellow gold enhances its retro look, ans is quite charming.

The Cal L921.6:

Quite nice!

Best,

Nicolas

Wempe does have the best LEs. I love the 1815 sidestep as well.

I really love the Wempe GLG (Grosse Langematik Gangreserve)! All 3 metals are beautiful. I own the PT version, but I think the YG version is a bit more attractive. The proportions of this watch are difficult to appreciate unless you see it in person, but ...

I wish they made this watch as a manual wind. Reminds me a Lange marine chronometer from WWII that I once had in the collection. Kind regards, Dan
