It was not a popular watch, at least in this format (white gold, and âjustâ a regular black dial). They were still available at ADs very recently (maybe even still) and sold at a material discount to retail prices. The prior iterations, the original releases, were more sought and perhaps rightly so.
However, it does seems that these last 12 months itâs becoming harder to find this PLM at material discounts to retail. Perhaps they are finally sold out (although I wonder), but also I think there is more appreciation of a watch like the PLM (even this one) given the prices we see for far more pedestrian time only watches.
And of course Lange has seen a little resurgence, tighter supply perhaps, more awareness and so on. Whatever might be driving it, for both new and used Lange, no question many watches are harder to locate.

I hear you, want one bad. The white dial is really hard to come by and black is going up now.
A year or two back there was one brand new in original packaging offered for a good price. I think a member here got it if I remember right. Should have jumped on it. Good luck with the hunt! Itâs a great watch
