Grand Lange 1
Prior to 2012 the 41.9mm Grand Lange 1 models were based on the same L901 movement as the original Lange 1, resulting in overlapping dials. This was changed with the development of the new L095 movement with the better balanced and non-overlapping dials, in 40.9mm size. Many purists prefer the newer design, but to me something about this original design makes it a more interesting piece. What do you think?

The new dials seem more German, more Lange.
Though the older pieces came with some very exciting, more adventurous dials... such as this one. ...

With updated movement. A better fit for my wrist.

In my case I prefer the former one. Why? Because it has character. The new one is just an enlarged Lange One. The former one was offering something different. Fx
