I have one with tang buckle
I have a small wrist about 6.5 in and elected to go with a tang buckle double split platinum.. I generally prefer tang buckles in general but my other two Langes have a deployment buckle
I find this watch although heavy balances very well. I think the shape of ones wrist in combination with size affects how these pieces wear. Curious how you find the difference once you get the DP for a direct comparison.
the only disadvantage I see to a Tang is easier to drop taking on and off and more wear and tear on the strap

Watch is heavy, so counterbalance helps. Perhaps harder to drop also when putting it on!
