You’re absolutely correct. And even more so if you collect (or admire if inaccessible) for the beauty, or history or sheer enthusiasm
I guess the wow factor carries less weight if you’re collecting for the (future) value and are in it for trading.
But I’m no trader, far from that. Because I’ve actually never sold a watch. Each piece has a story to tell, each one bought to celebrate something. Big or small, cheap, medium or very expensive (although that’s relative as well) I just don’t see myself selling
Ps must say I’m starting to like this forum more and more. It’s great to be able to communicate with enthusiasts and Connaisseurs and learn from it.
