Like the CB, I think this has the potential to appeal to both ALS collectors (because of its uniqueness in the line-up) and to people who are new to ALS (because it is, relatively speaking, affordable). It's not as 'far-out' as the CB (with its tantalum case, 'steam-punk' movement and biomorphic hands), but it does have a little bit of that same avante-garde flair.
I look forward to trying it on when it reaches the boutiques.

Women watches are full of bling bling (and likely quartz inside) 🤢 This dial reminds me the amazing De Bethune's one, it provides some magic to the classic german style. I'm in love with the new Saxonia, thin case and big date.
I’m happy to see Lange offering such a timepiece because that really adds something more in their collection in my opinion. Still technically impressive and perfectly finished of course but with “more soul” for me

Your right my friend . The reason i didnt buy that CvdK yet is because its a bit in your face . I like it a lot but my wife (aka Boss ) keeps telling me not to do it .

I really love this dial...esp given ALS does not normally offer interesting dials for regular production watches...This one is top notch! Do you feel the 39mm too big? I prefer 37mm for Saxonia thing in general..so wondering how 39mm goes..
As an owner of an unisex model myself (Blue Ellipse) and

I wish it was entry-level
It is $7,000 more than the Saxonia 35mm and Saxonia Thin 37mm
My only concern is the size
The Thin 37mm looked too big on my wrist (so I bought the Saxonia 35mm). However, I am hoping the dark dial makes it wear smaller and I may still buy it no matter what as it will be the only bold Moser-like dial in my collection.
The only comparable piece I can think of is the Tonda from Parmigiani
But that one has diamond bezel and therefore not for me. The dial is absolutely gorgeous in person though. I'm really excited to see this ALS in person as well.
I didn’t think about the Parmigiani (thank you for the reminder) but you have several other possibilities such as a Jaquet Droz, the Omega Speedmaster Moon Phase Aventurine, the Christiaan Van Der Klaauw Planetarium (new model)...
But this Lange has really something special. If you can see it in real, bring a magnifying glass with you and look at its dial. You’ll see like little copper nuggets. Superb! Best wishes Alkiro
The aventurine really works well with simple dials, hopefully my local AD will carry the new ALS soon.

Yeah, from my experience with the blue aventurine dial Omegas...
... they're fun, versatile watches that defy a particular use. I will be curious to see if Lange will experiment further with non-traditional dial materials. Maybe this is a sign of things to come?

My favorite Lange from SIHH
The dial changed dramatically in different lighting. Fun and dynamic in brighter light, yet conservative and dressy in a bit darker light. 37mm is my ideal size, but this at 39mm was just right! ...

I'm really not sure about wrist size - I would guess medium, maybe somewhere between 6.75" - 7". I should probably know by now! Regardless, it fit everyone I was with like a glove.
