What do you like about each? I'm assuming you want the moonphase and rose gold for that elegant look. Both are great pieces and fill different aspects to a collection if you ask me.

The Saxiona Moonphase, it's significantly priced less than the GL1. It's very classic, very easy to read. To me it's a much more elegant timepiece that I would wear with a suit out to more formal settings. It's understated, then there is also the aspect of the automatic movement. If you plan on wearing it all the time that could be an advantage. You can simply throw it on and head out the door. Or if you want to keep the moonphase accurate without thinking about winding it every few days, that is a nice feature.

The GL1 MP was my favorite from the SIHH it was released at, especially the rose gold version. The Lange 1 design is more closely associated with the brand amongst collectors. Having the moonphase indicator in the hour and minutes section of the dial really brings that complication center stage. I think it can over power it slightly even, but it is quite gorgeous to look at right? It's a manual wind, which to me gives you a more personal connection to the watch, you have to look at it while you wind it, feel the spring tightening, which is wonderful experience if you ask me.

I would suggest trying them both on side by side as well in person if you haven't already. The Saxiona is going to be a bit harder to come across at your local AD being that it's a newer release. They wear very differently.

So all in all, which speaks more to you?
